Stayed there for the Inkcarceration festival. Desk was super helpful. We had 4 people in the room and all 4 needed showers after the festival and it was easy to get more towels. The breakfast spread was good. If you have a pool side room… More it's likely going to smell like chlorine but we didn't care. There's a couple places to eat and gas stations right there so that was convenient. Would definitely stay again.
My husband and I took our one-year-old and had a blast. The first night, we had the entire water area to ourselves! We enjoyed the breakfast each day as well. There were plenty of options, and the staff was very friendly. The hotel was… More clean, a bit outdated, but not a bad low-budget getaway.
While the water park itself needs work (cracking plaster, rusty stairs to the water slide), the kids had a blast. There's an adult only hot tub plus a hot tub for kids! Bathrooms and changing area definitely need renovations but at… More the price of admission and the open house to swim, it's a great idea for those rainy summer days or winter days! Plus, being within an hour from the airport in Cleveland is very nice (no turnpike required).
The room was very clean the staff were all friendly and OMG the pool area is amazing! The water is warm like a bath even the slide water was warm. The arcade was nice and doesn't cost an arm and leg. Breakfast was awesome also.… More They had eggs sausage link + patties omelets. This place is all around amazing! We will 100% be coming back.
Perfect little waterpark for younger kids! My family took a trip with our 3 year old and 7 month old and it was the perfect size for a 3 year old that may be too small to do most things at a bigger park. Only downside was the bed and pillows… More but that’s minor.
The hotel was ok. Beds seemed clean. Rooms were smaller. The shower has pressure but not always super hot. The pool was great for younger kids. There is one small water slide and a big pool. A kiddie pool and a smaller splash pad. Not so… More much a water park as a few extra features on a pool. It was CROWDED in the pool. You are constantly being splashed. The chlorine levels were high. We all left with really dry skin and burning eyes. Overall we had a great time and the kids loved the hotel. Mine are all 8 and under older kids might get bored faster. Service was great. Breakfast was good. Everything seemed clean and the game room was cool too.
I don't even know where to begin, our stay was absolutely wonderful! Every staff member was helpful and friendly, room was great, the pool area is amazing. My daughter had a BLAST. We really enjoyed the breakfast. What a great hotel,… More especially if you have kids. I also left my glasses behind and staff found them and shipped it back to me very quickly! I believe it was Kyleigh that helped me on the phone with that. We will definitely be back!
This place was AWESOME! Us adults had fun being big kids on the splash pad and the slide. And the TWO hot tubs? 🔥 🫠 Service was excellent, free breakfast was great and constantly being restocked. Trash and housekeeping were also very well… More done. 👌 We DEFINITELY plan to be back. 💯
We had a nice experience here. Our family chose to stay here for a weeknight night as a getaway. It was a good place to take little ones.. not overwhelmingly large, but big enough to provide them a lot of entertainment. The facilities were… More clean, including the pool area and room. The age of the property shows some wear and tear in both the waterpark and the sleeping rooms, but that is to be expected. Shoutout to the staff personnel who was monitoring the entire pool area on Sat. 8/5 & Sun. 8/6. She was always busy folding towels or checking things out to make sure everyone was safe, and she was friendly. Only complaint would be that the splash pad was not working on Saturday, but things happen! Check out the little train restaurant next door. Super fun and good food!
Our family stayed here 2 weeks ago and we LOVED IT! Service was great & our room was very clean. We only live 1¹/² away but made a weekend outta of it before our Little guy went back too school & enjoyed a tour of the Ohio State… More Reformatory. The hotel is near some restaurants. The Buckeye Diner is a must! We will definitely be back....soon!!!
It was perfect for us. It was in repair but it didnt impair enjoying the pool with a great slide and TWO hot tubs. Rooms were clean. Beds soft. If you have kids...they will treasure this place. Breakfast had a great selection too. No complaints!… More
The rooms were nice and clean. The beds were comfy.the pool had a minor issue and quickly asked everyone to get out so they could shock it. Which I was extremely impressed with. It just showed how clean it really was.the arcade was a fun… More little way to end the evening. We will definitely go back again!
Traveled for fun with my kid who loved the surprise of having a fun pool. Front desk staff and every employ we met was great. Our room smelled like cigarette smoke but it was not bad enough to ask to move. Overall we had a great time!
I always enjoy staying at this hotel! The staff is friendly and very welcoming and very helpful. They have a great selection for breakfast. The hotel is going under some renovations in their rooms and this last time I stayed I got to have… More one of the updated rooms. The new carpet and freshly painted walls look amazing! The rooms are always so clean and I always see the housekeeping staff working very hard. Make sure when reading reviews for a place that you don't let a couple of bad reviews fool you!! With all that being said, I 100% recommend staying here and I will be back! 🙂
Really great pool area for the kids. Absolutely perfect for the younger children and just the right price. We really enjoyed our first stay, and we've already got reservations to go back. Rooms are bit dated, a bit underwhelming, but… More they're clean and comfortable. We'd recommend this place to any small family with children.
This was such a nice motel in a very appealing location to stay while on the way home up north. While I did not come with kids I can see it is extremely kid friendly with many bells and whistles like the variety of pastries and fixings… More for the kids in the morning breakfast. The front desk is very proper and interested in the quality of your stay. I appreciate that. The beds were comfortable and the furniture was nice. I really liked the bathroom layout and the bath was great. I recommend you stay on the first floor for quiet. Don't forget to grab a sandwich at the late night Dunkin Donuts outside.
I've never stayed at a hotel like this one before, it's definitely unique. Der Dutchman is next door which offers Amish baked goods but is mostly surrounded by fast food. There is a huge pool and splash pad area, complimentary… More breakfast, and the rooms were clean. Because of the amenities this is a popular place for families and children running down the hall is a frequent occurrence but will range depending on guests
